We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2025, Kristen N. Henshaw of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kristen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kristen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Victoria Edwards Eacho. She is survived by: her father Thomas W. Henshaw, Jr. (Cathy Barden); her children, Ryin Henshaw-Elliott, Roanin Leigh, Phoenix Leigh and Caden Henshaw; and her siblings, Holly Henshaw (Jonathan Tyree), Bill Habansky (Amanda) and Bob Habansky (Kaci). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
