He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosser Garnett Dunn, Jr. and Erma Perkins Dunn; his significant other Betty Lowry; his siblings, Nancy Ball and Rosser Dunn III; and his nephew Stephen Dunn.
He is survived by: his children, Sterling Price Dunn, Jr. (Bailey) and Kimberly Dunn Trask (David); his grandson Zachary Connor Smith (Dorothy); his stepdaughter Michele Angelo (Bob); his siblings, Barbara Dodd and William Edward Dunn (Susan); his siblings' children, Billy Dunn and Sissy Coffey; and his former wife Bessie Parker Irelan. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family members and caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
