He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bowen and Nellie Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Peggy M. Bowen; his brother Trumen W. Bowen; and his sibling's children, Kristie Bowen Tanner, Trumen W. Bowen, Jr., Linda Elliott, Ronnie Bowen, Sandy and Louise Rice.
