Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis Haight and Hilda Mary Haight; and his brothers, Francis Haight and David George. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Marie Haight; his children, Virginia Gaston (Gilbert) of Aldie, VA, Richard Haight Jr. (Lori) of Lincolnton, NC, Theresa Dube (Raymond) of Belize and Debora McCarty (Robert) of Accokeek, MD; and his brothers, James Haight of Dover, NH, David Haight (Jeannie) of Chelsea, MA and Paul Haight (Cathy) of Peabody, MA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (23331 Sam Fred Rd, Middleburg, VA 20117).
