He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Clyde and Pearl Elizabeth Legge Thomas; and his siblings, Denny Thomas, Jack Sperry, Charlie Sperry, Connie Fitzwater, Janet Knave and Jody Fitzwater.
He is survived by: his wife Texie S. Thomas of Middletown, VA; his sons, Kevin Thomas (Traci) of Front Royal, VA and Christopher Thomas of Middletown, VA; his grandchildren, Rebecca Thomas, Hayden Thomas, Ethan Thomas and Kayla Ritenour; and his siblings, John Thomas, Sally Rutherford and Linda Funk. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
