It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Cowardin Jr. (Mollusk, Virginia), who passed away on March 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Cowardin and Katherine Cowardin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Koos Cowardin; and his children, Catherine Cowardin Miller (Douglas) and Bruce W. Cowardin (Kimberly Sipple). He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
