He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Bobbie" Hiner Hefner of Monterey; his children, Brenda Lee Hefner of Churchville, Barbara Ann Hefner of Petersburg, WV and William "Billy" Ross Hefner Jr. of Monterey; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Alexandria, Aaron Trawick Swecker of Churchville and Christopher Scott Hefner of Petersburg, WV; his stepchildren, Kimberly Clift (John) of Charlotte, N. C., Jesse and Carol Swecker of Monterey; his stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Swecker of Charlotte, N. C., Caitlin Swecker of Blacksburg and Jason Clift of Charlotte, N. C.; his sisters, Charlotte Mullenax of Gloucester and Mary Ellen Hull of Doe Hill; and his son-in-law Tim Swecker of Swoope.
