It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Jay Sylvestre Jr. of Montross, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Sylvestre; his sons, David and Bobby Jay Sylvestre; his parents, Bob Sylvestre and Gail VanCleaf; his brother David Sylvestre; his grandmother Shirley Page; his stepfather Ed VanCleaf; and his stepsisters, Babette and Danette VanCleaf. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
