It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Szelagiewicz (Nellysford, Virginia), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2018, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Stefan Szelagiewicz of West Point and Natalia F. Szelagiewicz of West Point; his sister Eva S. Wallace of Midlothian; his nephew Austin Wallace, IV (Nancy) of Beaverdam; his niece Stefanie W. Mercier (Jared) of Arlington; and also, Emily E. Wallace and Geoffrey G. Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society/SPCA of Nelson County, 29 Stagebridge Road, Lovingston, VA 22949.
