We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2020, at the age of 84, Samuel Wiant of New Market, Virginia, born in Burnsville, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry V. Wiant and Allegra McNemar Wiant; and his brother Harry Wiant, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Freeda Bolt Wiant; his daughter Angela Wiant of Mount Jackson; his sisters, Patricia Wiant Ridpath of Buckhannon, WV and Mary Ann Bucklew of Buckhannon, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Gray and Clifton Gray of Salem, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
