With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Angelia Anita Carney of Newport News, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Angelia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Angelia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Johnnie Carney. She is survived by: her brother Johnnie B. Carney; her sons, Carl Carney, Jamel Carney and Dimitri Carney; her mother Florence Walker; and her grandchildren, Carl Carney, Jr., Nia Carney, Kyrie Carney, Jamel Carney, Jr. and Jayse Carney.
