He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie Jackson; his children, France Jackson Ashley (Norvell), Shirley Jackson, Willie Jackson Jr., Diann Gandy (Andre), Dr. Mary Thompson (Jayi), Cynthia Parker (Rahman), Dr. Karyn Ward (Troy) and Marcay Jones; his siblings, Thomas Spivey, Katie Jackson, Thelma Church and Ethel Wayne; and his grandchildren, Ty Robinson, Patrice Thomas, Isaiah Thomas, Willie Johnson, Nijai Williams Kyle Gotay, Josiah Ashley, Jordyn Parker, Solomon Yeldell and Nahla Jones. He is also survived by great grandchildren; his family and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
