Bonnie Ricks Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 90, Bonnie Ricks Jr. of Newport News, Virginia, born in Red Oak, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Ricks Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, B. C. Ricks Sr. and Mamie Walker Ricks; and his siblings, Russell, Johnny Ray, Ophelia, Earlene and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Nell McCoy Ricks; his sister Shirley Jane Ricks; his niece Linda Gardner (Charles); and his children, Esther Hill (Brad), Jeanne Baranowski (Larry) and Wendell Ricks (Gail). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to West Hampton Baptist Church 'Heart for the House'.
