She was predeceased by: her parents, Flynn Rosser and Catherine Rosser; her sisters, Joan Griffin, Vivian Wooten and Mabel McDuffie; her children, William Akers Jr. (Billy) and Chris Wissmann (Mark); her daughter-in-law Lisa Davis (Wes); her grandchildren, Hannah, Bethany, Jonathan, Matthew, Brittany, Kandice (Cainan) and Travis; her great grandchildren, Caroline and Kennedy; and her siblings, Lillian Barrett, Mary Catherine Thomas and Robert Rosser.

She is survived by: her husband William R. Akers, Sr..
