She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Daniel Carter Sr.; her son Anthony "Tony" Carter; her parents, John William "Jack" North, Jr. and Minnie Myrtle North (Williams); and her brothers, John William and North, III.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Daniel "Danny" Carter, Jr. (Linda) and Michael Carter (Sybil); and her extended family, Jodi, Mike VanAlstine and Doris. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and her 9 great‐grandchildren.
Their contribution to the peace Doris experienced in her last days cannot be measured, and the family's gratitude cannot be adequately expressed.
