It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Lawrence Barlow (Newport News, Virginia), who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buella Estella Lawrence and Ernest Lawrence; her husband James Barlow; her children, James Barlow Jr. (Snoop), Eureka Barlow and Cynthia Barlow; her grandson Antonio Barlow; and her great grandchild Kyrie Barlow.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Lucy Jones, Geraldine Ellan Austin, Edward Lawrence, Howard Lawrence, Roscoe Lawrence, Elwood Lawrence, Liallian Estelle Black, Cynthia Bernistine Gresham and Larry Lawrence; and her children, Janice Barlow, Gwen Barlow, Phyllis Williams (Thaddeus Williams) and William Barlow. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and special friends.
