She was predeceased by: her parents, Eudora Edlow and Edward Edlow. She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. LaVerne Gray Kimball of Brookeville, MD and Lauretta Gray Goodman of Hampton, VA; her grandchildren, Nicole Kimball, James Goodman III (Ziadanne) and Tiffany Kimball; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Kimball and Zari Goodman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Colossian Baptist Church (856 Old Fort Eustis Blvd, Newport News, VA 23608).
