He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Godshall and Edna Godshall; his sons, Karl Godshall and Kenneth Godshall; and his siblings, Esther Bishop, Evelyn Nice and Edward Godshall.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Shenk Godshall; his children, Emily Christner (Ernie) of Indiana, Linda Clark (Danni) of Virginia and Kevin Godshall (Judy) of Delaware; and his sister Elizabeth Landis (Mark). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service.
