He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Garland and Priscilla McPherson McCoig; his former wife Kathy; his son-in-law Robert A Schmitz; and his granddaughter Lisa McCoig.
He is survived by: his wife Katharine R McCoig; his children, James A McCoig (Mary), Amy M Schmitz (Rob), Laura M Spiers (Dean) and Kelly M Mancil (Christy); and his grandchildren, Nikki, Ian, Emma, Christy, Jenna, Austin, Alex, Adam and Zoey (Emma).
He began a lifelong love of magic as a young teen and has performed a legion of shows for family, friends, parties and charity events throughout his lifetime.
