It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linwood Lovett Jr. (Newport News, Virginia), who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Lovett and Linwood Melvin Lovett, Sr.; and his sisters, Janice Mays and Lanae Crawley. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Lovett; his daughters, Crystal James (Nakia), Kymber Lovett-Menkiti (Bo) and Tracy Lovett; his grandchildren, Trinity, Jania, Braxton, Tayvin, Carter, Clayton and Kameron; his sister Tina Spencer (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Whitaker (Lloyd), Gus Mays, Chuck Crawley (Jo) and Michael Ray Battle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
