She is survived by : her children, Judy Roper (VA), Elaine Hart (VA), Roderick Hart (NC) and Clarence Hart (VA); her grandchildren, Shamya, Cheyanne, Clarence, Shamel, Timothy, Paul and Prince; her great grandchild Joshua; and her sister Carolyn Brown (NY).

Viewing was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. E. Fisher Funeral Home (2117 Madison Ave, Newport News, VA 23607). A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (2700 Parish Ave, Newport News, VA 23607).
