He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Manley and Susie Manley; his wife Florence Manley; his siblings, Alex Jr., Alvin Manley, Elnora Artis, Marylinda McLean and Sheila Ann Manley; and his grandson Mar'Quail La'Mar Manley.
He is survived by: his family Norris; his daughters, Alice Hamlin (Neal), Margie Manley, Sharon Draughan (Ricky), Marion Claggett (Larry), Patricia Manley, Brenda House Manley and Della E. Manley Hull (Demetrius); his siblings, Marion L. Jackson, Lee Davis (Eddie), Rev. Eula Marshall-Banks (James), Esther Norman (Geno) and Toney Manley; and his friend Marie. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Carver Memorial Cemetery (2320 E Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
