She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richmond, Sr. and Blanche Richmond; and her children, Eric and Erica. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Vaughan, Sr.; her children, Arnetta Elam (Alonzo), Melvin Vaughan Jr. (Clara) and Rodney Vaughan; her siblings, Joyce Roberts (Tony), Leroy Richmond (Susan), Michael Richmond (Carolyn), Marvin Richmond (Helen), William Richmond, Jr. (Dorothy) and Haywood Richmond (Frances); and her sister-in-law Doris Apacatnis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
