He was predeceased by: his father Willie E. Spiers, Jr; and his close friend Mae Debreaux. He is survived by: his mother Janice Shields-Spiers; his brother Lee Shields of Berksville; his uncle Roy L. Pair of Gary, Indiana; his aunts, Mary Jackson of Newport News, Virginia and Jacqueline Flowers of Hampton, Virginia; and his nephews, Akeem of Newport News and Zavion of South Hill. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends.
