He is survived by : his wife Calista Ann Moore Blackstock; his sons, Thomas, Jr. (Jackie), Robert (Jan), David (Deborah), Gregory (Linda) and Steven (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Eric, Katie (Michael), Rebekah (Matt), John, Beth (Matt), Claire (Sam), Jesse, Mary Alice, Brett and Joe; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Adam, Lynleigh, Dean and Eli.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmaus Baptist Church (814 Yorktown Rd, Poquoson, VA 23662). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
