She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon James M. Wilson and Alice C. Wilson; her husband Eldrige Patterson; her son Dwayne Patterson; her son-in-law Johnnie Williams; her great grandchild Azonte Williams; and her siblings, George Wilson, Elizabeth Brown and Mary Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Williams and Darry Patterson (Charmeun); her grandchildren, Shaun Williams (Talene), Darrannette Patterson, Damien Patterson (Tasha) and Shardae Yancy (Rodney); her goddaughter Tammi Ledbetter; and her sisters, Barbara Briggs and Joyce Foster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
