She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Eugene Brooks and Helen Harris Brooks; and her sister Jacqueline Brooks Draper. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Mallette (Stephanie) and Karyn Williams (Torre); her brothers, Ronald Brooks (Shirley) and Stuart Brooks (Rose); her grandchildren, Alexandria Mallette, Gavin Mallette, Tyson Williams and Kyrie Williams; and her former husband Herbert Mallette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
