She was predeceased by: her parent William Henderson Neal; her husband James B. Hughes; and her siblings, Wanda Atkins of Eleanor Munsey and Bruce Neal. She is survived by: her parent Leola Aliff Neal; her children, Robin Kahl (Rick) and Tim Hughes (Leslie); her grandchildren, Brad Kahl (Kinsey), Lindsay St and Keith; and her sister-in-law Patricia Crawford (Wayne). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
