With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Mears (Nora, Virginia), born in Onancock, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Floyd Mears and Sara Catherine Mears; his brother Barry Lee Mears; and his daughter Cathy Ann Mears Thomas. He is survived by : his wife Nora Grace Mears; his son William Thomas Mears (Laura); his grandsons, Colin Thomas (Dana), Brandon Thomas, Angela Cloud, Davis Mears and Will Mears; and his great grandchild Taylee Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice, P.O. Box 616, Onley, VA or Schellhammer Urological Research Foundation, 225 Clearfield Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23462-1815.
