She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Artis-Ampey; her son-in-law Rico of Norfolk, Virginia; her siblings, Lois Artis of Chesapeake Virginia, Lawrence Artis (Sarah) of Chesapeake, Willie "Calvin" Artis of Courtland, Esmond Artis-Cobbs of Houston, Iola Artis-Smith (Smitty) of Raleigh and Livis Artis of Courtland, Virginia; and her grandsons, Derrick Olds and James Olds III of Norfolk, Virginia. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
