He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bruce E. Melchor, Sr. and Christine Rogers Melchor; his wife Patricia Lee Boyd; his children, Bruce E. Melchor, III, Robert Boyd Melchor (Dee Oliver), Lee M. Nelson (Paul) of Richmond, VA and Anne Melchor of Norfolk; his siblings, James R. Melchor (Marilyn) of Norfolk and Peggy M. Harris; his grandchildren, Douglas A. Melchor, Margaret E. Melchor, Katherine, Turlington, Christine Melchor and Robert B. Melchor, Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, Jacquie Oliver Kohart, Madison Oliver and Aven Oliver; and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fife.
