It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wilfred Hebert Sr. of Norfolk, Virginia, born in Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Hebert and Genevieve Hebert (Bourassa); his parents-in-law, Henry and Blanche Blanchette (Roux); his grandchildren, Jacob Couture and Caroline Luciani; and his friend Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Hebert (Blanchette); his children, Gerald Hebert Jr., Lionel Hebert (Cathy), Deborah Couture (Denis) and Lisa Luciani (Michael); his sister Kathy Shea (John); his brother-in-law Roland Roux (Manchester); his great grandchildren, Jerry Hebert (Katie) of Carey, NC, Noah, Emily, Jessica Couture (Brian), Jonah, Burton, Catelin Couture (Manchester), Jamison Couture (Kelly) of Providence, RI, Gabe Luciani, Daniel Luciani (Keene), Owen, Emma Hebert, Zachary Hebert (Heather), Jordan, Avariy, Kaynean, Travis Murphy (Gabriella), Kiley, Jackson and Gracie; and his friends, Fred Mullen (Lee), Robert, Patricia Gregoire and Jeanne Kennedy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
His friends shared well wishes and memories via video as they were unable to celebrate in-person during a pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Pius X Church, Manchester which is greatly in need of food during this pandemic. Donations can be delivered to the parish office Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm.
