She was predeceased by: her parents, James Limit Cabarrus and Lelia Leigh Cabarrus; her siblings, Calvin Cabarrus, Ionia C. Buck, Charlie Cabarrus, John Lee Cabarrus, George Cabarrus and Herman Cabarrus; her friend Haywood Horton; and her niece Mattie B. Wilkins.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tasha Cabarrus, Christopher Cabarrus and Steven Cabarrus; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Cabarrus (Herman) and Mildred Cabarrus (George). She is also survived by other relatives.
