She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edwin Odom and Anne Moore Odom; and her husband Carl Dhu Tharin. She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Tharin, Chris Tharin and Karla Anne Tharin Hakansson; her grandchildren, Ruby Tharin Harvey, Stella Tharin, Sam Hakansson and Matthew Hakansson; her great grandchild Gwendolyn Gray Harvey; and her daughter-in-law Susan Pleasants Tharin.
