In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Oscar McKinley leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Oscar McKinley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul White, Sr. and Evelyn Marie Smith White. He is survived by: his daughter Katrina; his granddaughter Jordyn Tate of Dallas, TX; his sisters, Lilly W. Lindsey (Elvin) of Moyock, NC, Sarah W. Harvey (Roy) of Moyock, NC, Tammy W. Lindsey of Moyock, NC, Minister Feenice W. Stancell of Belcamp, MD and Jill W. Benson of Norfolk, VA; his great-aunt Mother Maudell Bell of Moyock, NC; and his brother-in-law Craig Presley. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Christian Home Baptist Church (326 Tulls Creek Rd, Moyock, NC 27958).
