He is survived by: his children, Robert Culbertson, Tara Starr Scott (Michael), Bo Dean Whitehurst (Jennifer), James Earl Whitehurst and Christina Jolley (Kevin); and his siblings, James, Gary Whitehurst and Brenda Whitehurst. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
