He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Garfin and Florence Garfin; his wife Marilyn Fried; his children, Elaine Garfin Salsbury (Marshall) of Baltimore, MD, Judi Spilka Showalter (Willie) of Chesapeake and Jeffrey Spilka (Melissa) of Goodyear, AZ; his grandchildren, Brian, Jesse, Ruth Ann, Henry, Spencer and Rosalie; and his great grandchild Maya.
