She was predeceased by : her parents, William H. Hopkins Jr. and Sudie Mae Simpson; and her siblings, Jack S. Hopkins, Frances Faye Cahill (late Martin Cahill), Nancy Dunn (late Frank Dunn), Patricia Jean Pittman (late Augustus F. Pittman Jr.), Anne Miller (late William Miller) and William H. Hopkins III.

She is survived by : her children, Scott B. McCaskey of Norfolk Virginia, Mary Hunter McCaskey Cooper (Kevin Cooper) of Virginia Beach and Philip D. McCaskey (Cathy McCaskey) of Madeira Beach; her grandson Skye McCaskey Ball of Boynton Beach; her great grandchild Tyler Van Seelen of Virginia Beach, Virginia.; and her sisters, Barbara Smithwick (Winton Smithwick Jr.) of Palm Springs and Connie Hopkins of Williamsburg. She is also survived by her loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chrysler Museum of Art.
