She was predeceased by: her parents, Benford Burkett and Anna Ruth Hunt Burkett; her husband Mike Taylor; her daughter Sandy Bandy; and her siblings, David Burkett, Leon Burkett and Ginger Bowling.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Taylor (Honey) of Rural Retreat, VA and Nicole Collison (Chad) of Baptist Valley, VA; her siblings, Dean Burkett of Baltimore, MD, Tony Burkett of Baptist Valley, VA and Penny Stockton (Glen) of Florida; and her son-in-law Mark Bandy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
