It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Ruth Combs Jackson in Nottoway, Virginia, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Franklin and Lena Shell Combs of Honaker, Virginia.; her son Mark Jackson; and her sisters, Mary Sue and Victoria.

She is survived by : her husband Glenn E. Jackson; her sons, Wade Jackson (Ann), Mike Jackson (Gail), Guy Jackson and Frankie Jackson (Stephanie); and her siblings, John Combs (Janie), Archie Combs (Margaret), Ronnie Combs (Donna) and Sarah Burnette. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
