He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Lee Shay and Mary Louise Bunting Shay. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Campbell Shay; his sons, Dwight Clifton Shay (Jody Shay) and Donald Christopher Shay (Shana Courtney Shay); and his grandchildren, Hunter Clifton Shay, Campbell Wyatt Shay, Alyssa Linton and Brianna Linton.
