It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lance Godwin Fisher Sr. (Oak Hall, Virginia), born in Sanford, Virginia, who passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jackson Fisher, Sr. and Naomi Godwin Fisher; and his siblings, Elsie Fedderman, Arenthia Fisher, Walter J. Fisher, Jr. and Mark Fisher.

He is survived by: his sons, Lance G. "Lanny" Fisher, Jr. (Paula) of Salisbury and Charles S. "Chuck" Fisher (Kim) of Oak Hall, VA; his grandchildren, Cole, Lance G. III, Trey, Laura, Megan and Caroline Fisher; and his brother Phillip Fisher of Sanford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
