She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bell and Mildred Maxine Bell; and her brother Jack. She is survived by: her husband Tom; her brother Tom (Sharon) of Darke County; her children, Camilla Barrientos (Fernando) and Randall (Heidi Copeland); her grandchildren, Raquel Barrientos, Selina Gonzalez (Salvador), Natalie Richards (Mark), Sydney and Cody; and also, Romeo, Leila, Apollo and Bodie.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in memory of Jan to the Oakton United Methodist Church.
