She was predeceased by: her parents, Layton H. Stockdale and Evelyn V. Cather; and her brother Richard Stockdale. She is survived by: her siblings, Betsy Stockdale and Dellea Underwood; her sons, Michael Schick and Gregory Schick; her daughters-in-law, Dawn Schick and Debbie Schick; her husband William F. Kemp; her stepchildren, Frank Kemp, Susi Lakeman, Debi Sager and Rich Kemp; her daughters-in-law, Aida Kemp and Kiera Freeman; and also James Schick. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marydel's honor to her favorite charities World Wildlife Fund, St Jude's Children Hospital, or Westminster Presbyterian Church Music program.
