As Patricia Ann Dawson departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia Ann Dawson may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patricia Ann Dawson leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Dawson and Kate Boggess Dawson. She is survived by: her husband Don Weems; her sister Judy Shiflett; and her children, Katie Priddy (Glen), Donna Pugh (Dwane), Amy Chapman (Freddie), D. W. Jr. "Sonny" Weems (Julie) and John Weems (Aimee). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church (19103 Brick Church Rd, Orange, VA 22960).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Pat's memory to the building fund at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship.
