He is survived by: his wife Michelle Sanford of West Virginia; his parents, Monk Sanford and Carolyn Sanford of Orange; his sisters, Carmon Jenkins (Larry) of Orange and Carri Fanning (Bill Renaud) of Gordonsville; his uncles, Lyle Sanford of Orange and Bill Slaughter of Gordonsville; his close friend Buck Corbin; his nieces, Skylar Pritchett, Amber LaCava, Carly Jenkins, Chandler Renaud, Skylar Renaud and Calli Fanning; his stepdaughters, Kayla Anderson and Sierra Curfman; and his stepgrandchildren, Brixton Anderson and Tyten Anderson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Chapel (250 W Main St, Orange, VA 22960).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orange Food Pantry, 352 Blue Ridge Dr., Orange, VA 22960.
