She was predeceased by : her husband Eugene G. Ashton, Sr.; her parents, Paul C. Leonhauser and Margaret Burke Leonhauser; and her siblings, Col. Paul C. Leonhauser (Trudy), Robert Leonhauser, Harry G. "Gigi" Leonhauser (Laura), Margaret "May" Ridge (William) and Mary "Shorty" Morrow (Robert).

She is survived by : her children, Glenn R. Ashton (Marcy) of Hawley, PA, Eileen Ashton Courtney (Charles "Billy") of Painter, Eugene G. Ashton, Jr. of Painter and Steven E. Ashton (Elaine) of Hampstead, NC; her brother Walter Leonhauser (Diane) of Levittown, PA; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Leonhauser of Levittown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
