She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Burruss, Sr.; her children, Lloyd Burruss Jr. (Pamela) of Palmyra, VA, Victoria Burruss-Jones of Charlottesville, VA, Angela Burruss-Terrell (Mark) of Keswick, VA., Kathy Palimore (Scott) of Richmond, VA, Stefanie Calloway (Thomas) of Keswick, VA and Lorenzo Burruss (Sarah) of Charlottesville, VA.; her grandchildren, Jessica Burruss (Keyone), Danielle Freeman (Gary), Brittany Burruss, Codie Burruss, Justin Palimore, Keri Palimore, Thomas Calloway II (Kitty), Sydney Calloway, Mark Terrell II (Chloe), Lorenzo Burruss II and Zoe Burruss; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Jayden, Amiyah, Tysen, Bryce, Thomas III, Beau and Cruz; her sister Marjorie Morse of Charlottesville, VA.; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Page of Orange, VA., Alberta Page of Spotsylvania, VA. and John Morse of Piney River, VA.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel (108 6th St NW, Charlottesville, VA 22903). The lying in state was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church (105 Ridge St, Charlottesville, VA 22902). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
