With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Travis Monroe Williams of Pamplin, Virginia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Monroe Williams Jr. and Hazel Joanne Chapman; and his sisters, Theresa Williams, Rita Kieffer, Nita Kieffer and Tamara Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Louise A. Lauter-Williams; his children, Matthew Williams (Terry) of Lynchburg, Adam Williams (Elizabeth) of Charlottesville, Virginia and Laura Williams of Lynchburg, Virginia; his granddaughter Madison Williams; and his siblings, Jewel Trumble of Newport News, Virginia, Jeannie Hadley of Newport News, Virginia, Ricky Lamb (Mary) of Hampton, Jimmy Murvin of Newport News and Curtis Monroe Williams III of Michigan City, Indiana.. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (2938 Oakleigh Ave, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace (2938 Oakleigh Ave, Appomattox, VA 24522).
