He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Sr. Cersley and Amanda Cersley. He is survived by: his children, Diana McNeal, Michael Cersley and Christopher Cersley (Kim); his grandchildren, Lewis Kellerman (Jessica), Christopher J. Cersley, Samantha Gomez (Chris) and Nicole Cersley; his sister Nancy Church (Lynn); his niece Deb Church; and his nephew Ray Church (Leanne Gould). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
